They decided to celebrate the occasion by making a "Give me my money" TikTok trend video. The trend features one person in the group getting pranked, and in the Haliburton family's case, it was Tyrese Haliburton's father, John.

"Nah John the GOAT," Tyler Herro said.

Tyrese Haliburton was with Team USA at the Paris Olympics. Although he did not get much game time in the tournament, his availability gave the head coach Steve Kerr roster depth to work with.

Tyrese Haliburton appreciates Team USA bench-warmer role in social media post

Tyrese Haliburton appreciated his bench role on the gold-winning Team USA basketball squad. The Indiana Pacers guard made a post on X, formerly Twitter, featuring a selfie of himself holding the gold medal. Haliburton accompanied the post with a caption joking about his role as a bench warmer for the international squad.

"When you ain’t do nun on the group project and still get an A," Haliburton wrote.

Haliburton played in three games for the gold medal winners totaling 26 minutes of game time and scoring only eight points. In a star-studded roster like the USA Men's National Basketball Team, someone had to get snubbed in games. However, it was not a waste as the young All-Star guard got to experience the best players in the game battle it out first hand.

Additionally, he was with the squad for the entirety of the campaign and attended practices with them gaining more valuable knowledge and experience.

In the 2028 Olympics, when many of the older players have retired, Tyrese Haliburton should have the chance to show his quality and get a lot more time on the court.
