The former Sacramento Kings guard was high on the list as he had a wonderful 2023-24 season, where he was in the MVP contention during the first 2 months of the season. He led his team to an unexpected Eastern Conference finals, where they were defeated by the eventual champions.

All of this earned Tyrese a top 10 spot on the list and could have been much higher if it were not for his abysmal start to the 2024-25 season. His final ever appearance on this list, as he turns 25 in February, marks a notable achievement with a Top 10 finish, given he's only been in the league for 4 seasons.

Oklahoma City Thunder's Chet Holmgren was placed above Haliburton in fifth place while Orlando Magic duo Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero took up the 3rd and 4th positions, respectively. Anthony Edwards was ranked second on the list while Victor Wembanyama, unsurprisingly, was selected as the best-ranked player under the age of 25.

Tyrese Haliburton struggles during the 2024-25 NBA season

After leading the Indiana Pacers to their first Eastern Conference finals in almost a decade. Tyrese Haliburton has been unable to kickstart his season in similar form as he currently struggles to make an impact for the Pacers.

Averaging 20 points and 10 assists after joining the Pacers from the Kings, Haliburton is currently averaging 17.0 points and 8.6 assists, which is quite average by his lofty standards. The 24-year-old has also struggled away from home as he is currently averaging 12 points per game away from home.

He struggled during an away game against the New York Knicks in October as the star failed to score a single point. On the court for 26 minutes, the star shot 0-8 field goals while shooting 0-7 from the three-point line.

Although he took his revenge against the Knicks, scoring a season high 35 points during the reverse fixture at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This has been a small victory in a large scale of losses for the Indiana star, who will be hoping to turn his season around in the coming few months.
