Tyrese Haliburton's girlfriend Jade Jones spotted enjoying crockery-smashing session at French Riviera
It has been a wild few months for Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend Jade Jones. After an impressive season guiding the Indiana Pacers to the Eastern Conference Finals, Haliburton was named to the USA men's basketball Olympics team. Team USA won the gold medal on Saturday, and Haliburton and his girlfriend Jade have been enjoying some well-deserved downtime in France.
Jones was spotted enjoying a crockery-smashing session at the French Riviera with her friends this week. She seemed to be in a celebratory mood after her boyfriend took home the gold and took some time to unwind at a Greek restaurant in St. Tropez.
Jones shared a short clip of her smashing some plates with her friends during a night out. In Greek culture, it is customary to smash plates on special occasions.
Haliburton and Jones met during their college years. Both of them attended Iowa State University where Haliburton played college basketball before he was drafted to the NBA in 2020.
The Iowa native is active on social media and seems to be having a great time in France, taking in plenty of the sights with her boyfriend.
"I'm his #1 fan": Tyrese Haliburton's girlfriend Jade Jones gushes over picture of couple after Olympics win
Tyrese Haliburton featured in just three of the USA's six games, playing just 26 minutes at the Olympics, but that didn't stop Jones from continuing her unconditional support for her boyfriend.
After the medal ceremony, Jones posted several pics of the couple showing off the gold medal and celebrating the special moment. In her recent Instagram story, she also posted a picture of them with a special message to the guard:
"I'm his #1 fan"
Haliburton will now get some well-deserved rest before returning to Indiana for the start of the NBA season in October.
