Tyrese Maxey gives 3-word reaction to latest New Balance Hesi Low v2 sneakers

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey is leading the new New Balance launch. The sneaker company unveiled the Hesi Low v2 featuring Maxey, one of the best young stars in the NBA.

X (formerly Twitter) account Nice Kicks shared a series of pictures of the 2024 NBA Most Improved Player and the new shoes, which are set to release on August 2.

Maxey had a three-word reaction to the announcement saying,

"These so fyeeeeee 🔥," he captioned.

Tyrese Maxey had a strong 2023-24 season where he unlocked another level of his game, becoming the clear No. 2 option for the Philadelphia 76ers after James Harden's departure.

In 70 games, Maxey averaged 25.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game, shooting 45% from the field, 37.3% from deep, and 86.8% from the free-throw line. He had to take over when Joel Embiid was injured and proved that he was ready for the big role.

Maxey is a member of the New Balance roster alongside Kawhi Leonard, Jamal Murray, Zach LaVine, Dejounte Murray, Darius Garland, Aaron Nesmith, Darius Bazley, and even the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Cameron Brink.

Tyrese Maxey called out fans for getting him drug-tested after viral photo

Tyrese Maxey has been very active this offseason, training ahead of the 2024-25 NBA campaign. After a recent picture of him looking jacked became viral on social media, the league decided to drug test him, which sparked a fun reaction from the guard.

"I really got drug tested because of y’all," Maxey told fans on X.

While Joel Embiid remains busy with Team USA in France, Maxey is working out to iron his skills. The 76ers welcomed some notable players in the offseason, including nine-time All-Star Paul George and drafted Jared McCain. The 16th overall pick of the 2024 draft admitted that he'd like to have Maxey in one of his TikTok videos.

"If I could one day get Tyrese Maxey or Paul George in a TikTok, that'd be amazing. But I'm not gonna force it in their faces by any means," he said (per Clutchpoints). "Hopefully, I can get them in one after a big win or something."

The Philadelphia 76ers still carry big expectations ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season. Following a first-round elimination against the New York Knicks, they are poised to bounce back with their new-look Big 3.
