The San Antonio Spurs star's sister spun around in the video to show off her jersey. Eve added a sticker in a story following the video, asking fans to help her choose a jersey number.
On Friday, Le Parisien, a French news outlet, reported that Victor Wembanyama's sister was joining the prestigious French basketball club USO Mondeville. Eve's latest story on IG confirmed the news. Le Parisien had also reported Eve's thoughts on the move to a club she had played against multiple times.
"I played against Mondeville for a long time in the past. Being part of this great club now is pretty cool. When I was young, I often came to play in Caen, in Mondeville and I know the city a little. It's also a club that occupies an important place in French basketball and that wants to move up as quickly as possible," Eve said via Le Parisen.
Eve is the first child of Felix and Elodie Wembanyama and the older sister of the Spurs star Victor Wembanyama. She played 3x3 basketball in the last year of her career. However, she returned to the 5x5 format when not selected for the Paris Olympics.
Victor Wembanyama's sister Eve Wembanyama performs a Tik-Tok challenge at the FIBA 3x3 tournament
Victor Wembanyama's sister Eve was in Mongolia for the FIBA 3x3 basketball tournament. The official Instagram handle of the FIBA 3x3 basketball posted a video of her performing a viral Tik-Tok challenge with fellow baller Sya Plaucoste who plays for the French Men's 3x3 basketball team. The duo stood next to each other and pointed directions by taking turns.
While one was pointing directions, the other person had to look in the opposite direction. Eve and Plaucoste did the challenge giving each other tough competition. Ultimately, Wembanyama's sister lost as she looked down when Plaucoste pointed in the same direction.
As the duo laughed out the fun challenge, the French international from the Men's team signaled for a handshake. As Eve went for a handshake, Plaucoste removed his hand and stared at the camera for pulling off a successful prank.
