Viral LeBron James black & white maid dress photo sparks questions from analyst Jason Whitlock: “Is it real?”
LeBron James found himself going viral once again when sports analyst Jason Whitlock questioned the authenticity of an image showing him wearing a black-and-white dress.
In the image shared on X, LeBron is wearing a housekeeper outfit. Whitlock was not sure if the image was real or fabricated but pointed out that it has been present on the platform for some years.
The image was shared by user Isabella Maria DeLuca (@IsabellaMDeLuca) with the caption "Ain't no party like a Diddy party."
It was a line told by the Lakers star back in a 2020 Instagram live session with the record producer. The record executive was arrested last Monday for charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
"I've seen this picture floating around this app for a few years," Whitlock posted. "Is it real? I assumed it's just a joke."
Whitlock argued that the image might be fake, as a joke aimed at the 20-time NBA All-Star. With how quick and easy it is to alter images due to numerous tools, the sports analyst wasn't quick to make any final assumptions.
LeBron James was once called a "narcissist" concerning Bronny James, by sports analyst
During the April 30 episode of the Fearless with Jason Whitlock podcast, the host aimed strong criticisms at the 39-year-old athlete. This was in relation to his son Bronny James' prospects as an NBA player.
His eldest son first started gaining momentum in his reputation to be a promising basketball prospect back in his days playing at Sierra Canyon High School.
His collegiate tenure with the USC Trojans was initially hampered by his cardiac arrest incident before the start of the season. He was eventually able to play in 25 games, leading to him going 55th overall in this year's NBA draft.
Whitlock questioned LeBron James' alleged role in getting his son drafted by the Lakers and highlighted his son being an unproven prospect.
"LeBron James is selfish and narcissistic," Whitlock said. "To live out his own fantasy he's willing to make his child a prop, and a 'Make-a-Wish' kid in the NBA. ... I'm sure Bronny will love being in the NBA with his dad, but everybody in that league behind his back is going to be calling him a 'Make-a-Wish' kid."
Whitlock claimed that the veteran forward made use of his positioning in the league landscape to ensure his son had a viable path in the professional league.
This upcoming season, Bronny James is set to make history with the four-time NBA Champion as the first father-and-son tandem to play for the same team.
