Watch: 6'2" Taiwanese league player's ridiculous dunk over Dwight Howard in their All-Star Slam Dunk Contest goes viral

It's the All-Star season for the T1 League in Taiwan and Dwight Howard recently participated in the 3-point contest. Honestly, it's surprising to see him compete in the event since it seems more fitting to witness Howard dominate the Dunk Contest. However, "Super Man" was technically still part of the Dunk Contest, just not in the way everyone expects.

Dwight Howard was recently invited to be one of the judges for the 2023 T1 League Dunk Contest. But Dwight somehow found his way on the court as a prop for Liu Chun Ting's second and final dunk of the evening. Chun Ting, standing at 6'2", defied all odds and dunked over the 6'11" Howard for his finale. As a result, Liu Chun Ting was officially named the 2023 T1 League Slam Dunk Champion.

How is Dwight Howard doing in the T1 League?

Dwight Howard appears to be enjoying himself now that he's playing in Taiwan for the T1 League. Shaquille O'Neal criticized him for joining the Asian league, however, Howard made it clear that he just wants to have fun playing basketball again. True enough, the NBA legend is back in his "Super Man" form as he has been dominating the T1 League ever since his debut.

As of the 2022-23 season, Howard is currently averaging a double-double with 25.6 points, 14.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game. He's looking like his Orlando Magic version now playing for Taiwan. Unfortunately, NBA players and fans alike are not convinced by his newfound success in T1. People say it's too easy and claim that anyone outside Asia can be dominant in their league.

While there could be some truth to that, let's not forget that Dwight is naturally a fun guy who loves to goof off even on the court. This is a side of him that fans haven't seen in quite some time, especially as his career began declining after his stint with the Houston Rockets from 2013-2016.

The last time everyone saw Howard truly smile in the NBA was when he won the title with the LA Lakers back in 2020. Since then, he has gone back to struggling to find his place in the league again. Dwight dominating the T1 League is definitely a huge morale boost for the NBA legend.
