LA Lakers star forward Anthony Davis threw down a vicious one-handed dunk in the third quarter of Sunday night’s game against Orlando. Lakers point guard Dennis Schroder initially missed a 3-pointer. Davis secured a long rebound and threw it to teammate Troy Brown Jr. on the perimeter. Brown then dished it back to a driving Davis for a strong finish through traffic that got fans out of their seats.

Lakers pick up crucial win over Magic
Sunday’s matchup against Orlando marked a crucial game for the Lakers, who are still battling for a play-in spot in the Western Conference. LA entered Sunday night just half a game behind the 10th-placed Utah Jazz (34-36) for the final play-in spot.
The Lakers were able to pull out a tightly contested 111-105 victory, led by second-year shooting guard Austin Reaves. Reaves finished with a game-high and career-high 35 points to go, along with six rebounds and six assists on 64.3% shooting.
Anthony Davis also added a double-double for LA with 15 points, 11 rebounds, two steals, and four blocks.
Meanwhile, Orlando was led by rising stars Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero, who chipped in 21 points apiece.
Following the win, the Lakers (35-37, 10th in the West) are tied with Utah at a winning percentage (48.6%). However, they have moved ahead of the Jazz in the standings for now. Meanwhile, Orlando (29-43) remains 13th in the Eastern Conference.
The Lakers will next play on Wednesday versus Phoenix (38-33, fourth in the West).
The Magic will next play on Tuesday versus Washington (32-39, 12th in the East).
