Watch: Damian Lillard casually sinks one legged 3-pt over Celtics center
Eight-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard is no stranger to big plays and jaw-dropping moments on the hardwood. He proved once again that he was capable of creating highlight plays when the Milwaukee Bucks clashed against the Boston Celtics on Sunday
With just a second left on the shot clock, Lillard heaved a three-pointer over Celtics center Al Horford. He ended up sinking the off-balance shot.
The struggling Bucks were in search of only their third win this season but the defending champion Celtics stood in their way. Damian Lillard and the rest of the Bucks looked like they were primed to win, leading by up to 17 points in the first half.
At the start of the second half, the Bucks were up by nine (69-60). However, the Celtics showed their resilience and managed to turn things around by going on a 10-0 run to start the third quarter.
By that point, the game became a back-and-forth affair. For the remainder of the game, there were seven lead changes and the score was tied eight times.
The Bucks were hanging on in the waning moments of the fourth. But Boston's star-studded squad prevailed. In the end, Boston came away with a narrow, six-point win (113-107).
The Celtics are now 9-2 for the year while the Bucks have dropped to 2-8

Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo combined for 57 points against the Celtics
In hopes of turning their fortunes around this season, The Milwaukee Bucks star duo tried to step up.
Giannis Antetokounmpo managed to register another double-double. He scored a game-high 43 points and he also led all rebounders with 13 boards. Additionally, he rejected two shots. The Greek Freak had an efficient night by sinking 18 of his 29 field goal attempts (62.1%).
As for Damian Lillard, he scored under 20 points for just the third time this season. Despite his highlight over Al Horford in the first half, he finished the game with 14 points on a 4-for-15 shooting clip. He also went 1-for-8 from downtown, with the only 3-pointer he sank was the one over Horford.
Aside from his 14 points, Lillard finished the game with six assists and three steals.
Damian Lillard's low-scoring game against the Celtics is quite the contrast from his numbers on Oct. 28. When the Bucks and the Celtics clashed then, Lillard scored a game-high 33 points.
Aside from leading all scorers, he also finished seven boards and seven assists. Additionally, he did work on the defensive end by coming away with two steals and rejecting one shot.
The Bucks are 0-2 against the Celtics this season with one more game to go. Fans don't have to wait long to see their next clash, which is set for Dec. 6.
