Looking at Jimmy Butler's acting career
Not many NBA players can have a successful acting career. But Jimmy Butler is no ordinary player as he's shown his acting chops in the past. On IMDb, Butler is credited with appearances in two music videos and one comedy film.
The Heat star appeared in a music video for the band Fall Out Boy when they released their song "So Much (For) Stardust" in February 2024. Butler had his emo hair, which he debuted during the 2023 media day for the team. The star was the focus of the video as he wore a full purple cowboy outfit paired with a purple hat.
Butler lip-synced the entire song and also showed off his dance moves.
Miami's star also appeared in a country music video, as he showed love for the genre. Luke Bryan's "Light It Up" featured the All-Star forward. It wasn't like what he did with the punk rock band as Butler showed his emotional range in the video.
Lastly, Butler appeared as himself in the comedy film Office Christmas Party, which was released in 2016. The movie featured some of the most well-known comedians including Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, Kate McKinnon and more.
