WATCH: Julius Randle's wife Kendra Randle uses Anthony Edwards' brother’s music to flaunt her hooping skills
Julius Randle's wife Kendra Randle is already taking steps to help her husband foster a close relationship with his Minnesota Timberwolves teammates. Kendra is also proving that when it comes to basketball, she is more than a fashion designer wife of the NBA star.
Earlier today, on October 7, Kendra Randle posted a few videos of her shooting a basketball in the Timberwolves' training center. In the first video that she posted on her Instagram Story, she was shooting free throws. In the second video on her IG story, she was seen making a jump shot.
In the story that she posted, Kendra used Anthony Edwards' elder brother Bubba Edwards' "Heyy" song in the background. Bubba goes by his stage name "bdifferent."
Watching her shoot and her shooting form, there is no doubt left that Mrs. Randle has put in some work in the gym in the past.
Here, take a look at the video of Kendra shooting in the gym.
In the first video that she posted, Kendra wrote:
"Still got it."
The Timberwolves played their first preseason game against the LA Lakers on October 4. They won the game, 124-107.
However, Julius Randle didn't take the court. He went through shoulder surgery after the injury in January. Randle is expected to play in the season opener for the Timberwolves.
Julius Randle's wife Kendra Randle says they were considering moving out of New York even before the trade
Even before Julius Randle was traded, there was speculation about him being dissatisfied with the Knicks. When Randle was introduced by the Timberwolves, his comments about being "wanted" also raised questions about him feeling wanted in New York.
Three days after the trade announcement, Randle's wife spoke in detail about the mood in the house. In her TikTok video, Kendra said that when the trade announcement was made, they were shocked.
However, the wife of the former Knicks player also added that the couple were already thinking about moving out of the city.
"When we heard Minnesota, it was pretty shocking," Kendra said. "Although we were so ready to leave New York, living in a condo with two kids is so hard."
In the later part of the video, she also added that living in New York for them was not easy. She said that since Julius Randle grew up in Texas and she was in Kentucky, New York had become too much for them.
Despite the difficulty of living in the city, Kendra and Julius had already made big decisions for their kids in the city. She said that it was difficult to convince their son Kyden after the trade news because he had already made friends in school.
On the brighter side, Kendra said that the couple had already taken a good look around the neighborhood and they loved it already.
