Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant has been putting in early work for the next season of the NBA and recently was spotted taking on Gilbert Arenas' son, Alijah, in a game of one-on-one.
Along with other NBA stars, including reigning sixth man of the year Naz Reed and Golden State Warriors forward Moses Moody, 'KD' went up against the younger Arenas in a game of one-on-one in the workouts hosted by Proactive Sports Performance in California on Friday.

Kevin Durant is coming off a successful gold medal run in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. He joined forces with LeBron James of the LA Lakers and Steph Curry of the Warriors, along with other NBA stars, in giving the United States its fifth straight gold medal in the Summer Games.
In six games in Paris, the two-time NBA champion averaged 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and a steal in 22 minutes of play. The gold medal was the fourth straight for Durant.
Last season in the NBA, Kevin Durant, 35, played 75 games, averaging 27.1 points, 6.6. rebounds, 5 assists and 1.2 blocks. He helped the Suns to a 49-33 record. They, however, failed to move past the first round of the playoffs, swept in four games by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Alijah Arenas, meanwhile, is the eldest son of three-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas. He is a star guard at Chatworth High School in California and has earned the interest of a number of big collegiate schools like Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, California and Fresno State.
Suns CEO says Kevin Durant is happy and committed to the team
Kevin Durant's first two seasons with the Phoenix Suns have not produced much playoff success but the team remains committed to him as its leader and believes 'KD' feels the same way.
Suns CEO Josh Bartelstein shared this in his appearance on the PHNX Suns podcast last month, highlighting how the 14-time NBA All-Star is happy to be a Sun and still buys into what they want to achieve.
"'But I think everyone's head's in the right place. He loves it here,' said Bartelstein by way of the Bleacher Report. He added, 'We talk to Rich Kleiman, who's his partner, all the time about the vision and what we're building, and everyone's really happy, and I think we're gonna have a really, really good year.'"
Kevin Durant joined the Suns midway into the 2022-23 NBA season from the Brooklyn Nets. In Phoenix, he has been good for 27 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.2 blocks in 83 games so far.
They made it all the way to the Western Conference semifinals in his first year with the team but were swept in the opening round of the playoffs last season. Durant is looking to lead the Suns in bouncing in the upcoming NBA season in tandem with fellow All-Stars Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
