“In Africa, dancing is more than just movement; it’s a vibrant expression of our culture, joy, and unity. Every rhythm and step tell a story, connecting us to our roots and each other in a way words can’t. Whether it’s a celebration, a rite of passage, or simply for the pure joy of it, dance embodies our spirit and resilience. Join us in this beautiful tradition and feel the heartbeat of Africa!”

Ezeli, who played three seasons with the Warriors, averaged 4.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game. He and Klay Thompson played 163 games together, achieving a 120-43 record.

The duo won a championship together in 2015. Ezeli then signed with the Blazers in 2016 but did not play a game for them due to a knee injury.

Ezeli later joined the Santa Cruz Warriors and the Westchester Knicks, both G League affiliates, as part of his rehabilitation process. However, he was unable to make a comeback to the NBA and officially retired from professional basketball in 2021 due to his persistent knee issues.

Draymond Green says Klay Thompson’s departure gives the Warriors flexibility

Joining the Dallas Mavericks marked the end of Klay Thompson’s tenure with the Golden State Warriors, where he averaged 19.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He was a five-time All-Star and won four NBA championships.

Draymond Green discussed Thompson's departure on the "Club 520 Podcast," noting that it opened up numerous possibilities and relieved the Warriors of financial constraints.

"What Klay just did—and nobody will give him credit for—is he just relieved this organization of the financial hardships it was starting to face. He still did it for the organization, but nobody will say that. Nobody will say him leaving was because he was unhappy, which, again, he wasn't the happiest last year," Green said.

In the 2023-24 season, his final with Golden State, Thompson averaged 17.9 points and shot 38.7 percent from three-point range across 77 games, marking his first season averaging under 20 points since 2013-14.

In his last game with the Warriors, a Play-In Tournament matchup against the Sacramento Kings, he went 0-10 from the field.
