Kristaps Porzingis showers praise on teammate Jaylen Brown
After defeating the Pistons at home, Kristaps Porzingis attended a post-game press conference where he answered the reporters' queries. Daniel Donabedian uploaded a segment from the press conference on his X account.
One reporter asked the Latvian international for his opinion on his teammates Luke Kornet and Jaylen Brown.
"Luke is a character and I think we are gonna see some more good interaction from him."
After talking about Kornet, the Celtics big man praised Jaylen Brown who returned to the court after missing out on action against the Miami Heat due to an illness.
"He does a good job of reading the team right, who needs to get a touch, who needs to get going. He's good at that you know and if he needs to take more responsibility to attack more, create more, he does that for us," Porzingis said.
"We already know what he gives us defensively, his physicality. When he’s engaged like this he’s one of the best players in the league, in my opinion. What we love about him is that he is going to make the right play and he is gonna give the team what the team needs at the moment."
The Celtics are in the middle of a home stretch and will host the Milwaukee Bucks next on Friday.
