Watch: Kyrie Irving refuses to hug Kai Cenat's $24,000 robot after special dap up

NBA star Kyrie Irving made an appearance on Kai Cenat's popular Twitch stream this Thanksgiving and provided some great content for the young online sensation. Irving toured Cenat's home, met his mother, shot some hoops and discussed a range of topics during his surprise visit.

The Dallas Mavericks guard even got an opportunity to meet Cenat's robot, but their interaction was not as friendly as some may have expected.

Irving and Cenat have developed a close relationship over the last few years. The well-known streamer welcomed the eight-time NBA All-Star into his world, and Irving caught a glimpse of Cenat's extravagant lifestyle. Part of that lifestyle includes a robot, worth $24,000 per Billboard, that Irving met.

While the Mavs star was willing to dap up the robot, he refused to hug the lifelike machine.

"I'm good on the hug, though, you good, bro," Irving said.

Watch the interaction between Irving and Cenat's robot in the video below:

The robot is reportedly developed by AI robotics company 1X Technologies. The company specializes in high-end robots that are capable of performing human-like movements and that can handle a range of tasks, such as opening a door and identifying humans. The robot is even programmed to provide a hug when required.

Kai continues to produce some of the sports and entertainment world's biggest names on his stream, with Irving just the latest celebrity to make an appearance. Over the last three years, the popular streamer has risen to fame and is now a household name. Cenat is currently the most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time.

Kyrie Irving's visit comes days after he sent a touching message of support to Kai Cenat and offered to go live on his stream whenever possible. The message was read out by Cenat personally to his followers:

"Kyrie just said, 'Keep being great and putting God first, brother. It's been truly amazing to see you put so many others on your platform out of love and kindness. That's what life is about—helping others and still having fun being you. You've inspired me more than you know. If you have any openings where I can stop by and say what's up, let me know.'"

Kai Cenat was visibly moved by the heartwarming message.

Kyrie Irving is in the midst of a demanding season with the Dallas Mavericks, and it was nice to see the 32-year-old take some time out to offer some support to a younger star. The NBA player will now return to his regular training routine with the Mavericks as they prepare to take on the Utah Jazz next in Salt Lake City on Saturday evening.
