Watch: Lakers room erupts in goat noises as LeBron James gets asked about his 4th qtr heroics vs Kings

LeBron James had a terrific performance against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. After beating the Phoenix Suns in big fashion on Friday, the Lakers tried to extend their unbeaten run and 'King James' played a key role in their 131-127 win over Mike Brown's squad.

After taking over the game in the fourth quarter by scoring 16 of 21 points unanswered points by the Lakers, James finished with 32 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.

Once the game was over and he tried to explain how he got things going, his teammates serenaded him with goat noises.

“I guess a little bit of everything,” James said in the locker room. “Just caught a rhythm, got my outside shot going, got a couple and-ones in the paint as well, got a backdoor from D-Lo that worked well. Just tried to see what I had going and help us get over the hump on this back-to-back.”

Contrary to what some thought, the Lakers are a very competitive team with a coach obsessed with every part of the game and one who doesn't care about splitting hairs.

LeBron James has shown a renewed game, looking as strong and dangerous as ever while helping the Lakers boast a 3-0 record presently.

JJ Redick in awe of LeBron James' performance against the Kings

Just like his teammates, analysts and fans, LeBron James' friend and coach JJ Redick was amazed by the four-time NBA champion's performance. He couldn't believe what James was capable of doing in the fourth quarter, praising his greatness and how well he played to get this victory.

“To just get that performance to start the fourth from LeBron (James). What can you say? We’ve all been very fortunate to watch his greatness for so long and the fact that he’s able to keep doing it. It’s actually insane,” Redick said, per Lakers Nation. “It’s actually insane. But you know, we executed really well in the fourth — to get 44 points in a quarter was great.
"And I would just add the last two games, last night and tonight, basketball is a game of imperfect. And our guys weathered some bad stretches, some bad breaks, and the resiliency that we’ve built this week, I believe is a very good foundation for our group.”

The Lakers are playing at a high level, much better than they did in the past two seasons. If they keep up this level, the West will be in trouble.
