Watch: LeBron James FaceTimes Kai Cenat on stream as duo chat up after in-person meet earlier
Following their in-person meeting, LeBron James answered Kai Cenat’s FaceTime on stream as they chatted up while the LA Lakers star and NBA’s all-time leading scorer trained with Team USA.
Cenat called James on his stream just under 24 hours of meeting him in Team USA’s training camp in Las Vegas ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Here's the clip of Cenat’s stream where he called James:
Earlier, the popular streamer had posted a picture of him and James in the hotel of Team USA’s camp. The photo sent caused ripples online as Cenat made the most of his encounter, also meeting NBA superstars Stephen Curry and Anthony Davis.
Cenat also shared a video of him being starstruck on seeing the Lakers legend in the hotel. James did a photoshoot for the Olympic-bound team before taking a picture and video together with the streamer.

Last month, the saga between LeBron James and Kai Cenat started when popular comedian Kevin Hart FaceTimed the Lakers superstar on the Twitch celebrity’s stream.
On realizing it was James, Cenat jumped up and down and clapped hard as he became ecstatic alongside fellow comedian Druski. James greeted the three to which Druski noticed that he had used the n-word.
"When did LeBron start saying n***a?" Druski said.
Kevin Hart then explained to the basketball star that they were on a Twitch live stream and that viewers could hear him speak.
"Oh sh- Oh, oh, sh**. Oh, so the world heard what I just said," LeBron replied.
Kai Cenat set a new record streaming record with Druski, Hart and James, peaking at 720,000 concurrent viewers with an average of about 600,000 viewers.
LeBron James to have hybrid role on Team USA
LeBron James, who turns 40 in December, will play the point forward position — a hybrid of a point guard and a forward — with Team USA in the Olympics in Paris, France, next month.
According to The Athletic, James will be utilized primarily as a playmaker in a Team USA squad full of NBA superstars like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Devin Booker, Bam Adebayo and Joel Embiid.
With James taking the playmaker position, Curry will be playing off-ball at the Olympics to utilize his catch-and-shoot prowess and movement shooting. With the lack of NBA role players on the team, some superstars are expected to fill roles in Team USA, unlike on their NBA teams.
The Olympic men’s basketball team is scheduled to leave on July 27, with the gold medal game being on August 11. Team USA will face Nikola Jokic’s Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico in the group phase.
