Watch: LeBron James & Savannah James link up with Carmelo Anthony & ex-wife LaLa Anthony for Bryce James' AAU game

Two top picks from the NBA's 2003 draft class, LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, were spotted together on Friday. The two attended an EYBL game and were also there with LeBron's wife, Savannah, and Carmelo's ex-wife, LaLa Anthony.

These two couples were present at the basketball event to support their sons, Bryce James and Kiyan Anthony. LeBron and Carmelo, along with Savannah and LaLa, were spotted and filmed meeting up before the game.

The EYBL, also known as the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League, is a competition for basketball players aged 17 or under. It was organized by the AAU and is composed of several AAU teams.

Bryce James, LeBron's youngest son, plays for the Strive for Greatness (SFG) team, while Kiyan Anthony is a member of Team Melo. Both these teams are in the same conference and both currently have a record of 3-5.

Bryce is averaging 6.9 points and 1.6 rebounds per game for his team. Meanwhile, Kiyan is averaging 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

Bronny James comments on playing in the NBA and with his father, LeBron James

LeBron James' future with the LA Lakers is still up in the air. He could end up declining his player option, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Many believe that the four-time MVP's decision on where he'll play for the 2024-25 season depends on which team his eldest son, Bronny James, will land in the NBA draft.

It remains unclear where Bronny will get drafted even after scouts got a chance to see his performance at the draft combine, which makes LeBron's future even blurrier.

However, according to Bronny, he is focused on proving that he can make it into the NBA and is not thinking about playing with his father.

Bronny remains in draft projections as going undrafted due to his underwhelming year at USC. However, his unexpected health scare earlier in his freshman season is being taken into account for his slow start.

Whether Bronny and LeBron James end up playing together remains to be seen. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski also reported earlier that LeBron no longer prioritizes playing with his son.

According to Woj, Rich Paul, the agent for both LeBron and Bronny, the priority now is to ensure that Bronny ends up in a team that can help him develop into an even better basketball player.
