WATCH: LeBron James spotted grooving to the tunes of "Call Me Maybe" during timeout
LeBron James and Team USA played their final group stage game against Puerto Rico on Friday, easily beating the Caribbean team 104-83. The Americans had to fight hard after losing the first quarter 29-25. But, after hitting the gas, there was no looking back.
James was enjoying himself during this game. The LA Lakers superstar again scored in double digits, dropping 10 points. He also had six rebounds and eight assists.
Before all of that, he was spotted vibing to Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe,' doing a little dance on the sidelines while the rest of the team either got ready to play again or to watch their teammates resume play.
Fans reacted to LeBron James dancing to 'Call Me Maybe'
Fans had mixed reactions after seeing LeBron James' dance. Some fans highlighted that the song is good, and a few added that James is enjoying the song as he is a dad girl and is playing in his final Olympics.
"Enjoying his last Olympics as much as he can lol," one fan said.
"Song is fire can’t blame him 🔥😂," another fan wrote.
"Lebron’s definitely a girl Dad! He knows this song too well 🤣," another fan said.
Others used the long-running meme about LeBron's name to have fun with the video.
"Hey I just lemet you," one fan said.
Mike Krzyzewski defends LeBron against doubters
Former Team USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski strongly told James' critics that the forward has always tried to be the best of the best.
“He [LeBron James] and Kobe [Bryant], I thought were just above everyone in preparation, physical, mental, you name it. When they were on the court at a practice or in a game, they wanted to be the best, all the time, all the time and they paid the price for it. For anyone who knocks LeBron in any way, they’re crazy," Krzyzewski told Cowherd on “The Herd”.
LeBron James won two gold medals in the Olympics (in 2008 and 2012) with Krzyzewski as his coach.
