Steph Curry gets real in rivalry with LeBron James

For the first time, fans will get to see Steph Curry and LeBron James play competitive basketball as teammates. The fans have seen flashes of what the two can do together on the court in Team USA's exhibition games. However, the real deal will happen during the Olympics.

Through all this, Curry shared that he had a "healthy resentment" towards James. Both stars have met in the NBA Finals and have stood against each other's goals of winning the Larry O'Brien trophy for four straight years. But the Golden State Warriors star still respects his rival, despite going against him multiple times.

"It was like a healthy resentment of somebody that’s standing in your way," Curry said. "But through it all, like there’s obviously the utmost respect for who he is as a person and a player and like how good he is and the challenge of trying to beat him and trying to solve that problem every year."

James is aware of his rivalry with the point guard. Fortunately, it was his goal not to turn their on-court rivalry into something personal.

"The game of basketball don’t last forever," James shared. "You don’t want to waste the opportunity to be able to have a relationship with someone."

Now the two are veteran stars in their respective teams. Both Curry and James have put aside their differences to win the gold medal in this year's Olympics.
