Watch: Luka Doncic relaxes amidst horses and cattle in offseason farm retreat

It's been a busy summer for Luka Doncic, but he now finally has some downtime on his hands before the 2024-25 season is underway. Videos surfaced of the All-Star guard engaging in some interesting activities.

Outside of basketball, Nikola Jokic is known to be an avid fan of horses and being outdoors. It appears he might not be the only one, as Doncic spent some time on a farm as well. He did things such as laying on bales of hay, being around the animals and even riding around in a tractor.

Towards the end of his farm day, Luka Doncic was asked about his desire to own a farm when his days in the NBA are over. The Dallas Mavericks star said:

"It's just beautiful. You can make food, you can see the landscape too. It's very beautiful, very peaceful."

Doncic is coming off his deepest playoff run with the Mavericks, reaching the NBA Finals before losing to the Boston Celtics. He joined the Slovenian national team shortly after but was unsuccessful in helping them qualify for the 2024 Olympics.

After an action-packed offseason, Doncic has some time to catch his breath before ramping up for his next campaign. Expectations will be high in Dallas with their newly-formed trio of Doncic, Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson.

Luka Doncic praised by former Defensive Player of the Year

Since being drafted in 2018, Luka Doncic quickly emerged as one of the game's top young stars. There was a lot of hype around him following a successful career overseas, and he's lived up to every bit of it.

In a few weeks, the newest installment of the NBA 2K franchise is set to release. Before the game comes out, player ratings have started to surface online. Doncic finds himself tied for the highest overall in the game (97) with Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

While appearing on "The Old Man and The Three" podcast, Jaren Jackson Jr. was asked about Doncic. The Memphis Grizzlies big man was also drafted in 2018 and said:

"Everything else has just been insane. He looks like he's been in the league 100 years."

When it comes to all-around talents, Luka Doncic is among the best in the NBA. Along with leading the league in scoring, he nearly averaged a triple-double last season. In 70 games for the Mavericks, his averages sat at 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 9.8 assists.

Still roughly a year or so away from his prime, Doncic has already racked up an impressive list of accolades. His achievements include Rookie of the Year, five All-Star appearances, five All-NBA nominations, one scoring championship and one Western Conference Finals MVP.
