NBA stars LeBron James, Tyrese Haliburton and Bam Adebayo are part of Team USA’s men’s basketball team that will compete in the Paris Olympics. James is looking for his third gold medal in the event while Adebay is gunning for his second. Haliburton is making his debut in the quadrennial games.
Team USA’s promotional video featuring Beyonce welcomed the American athletes participating in the event. James, Haliburton and Adebayo appeared in the promotional clip that featured other Olympic competitors. The trio shared the stage with swimmers Caeleb Dressel and Katie Ledecky, sprinters Noah Lyles and Sha’Carri Richardson and gymnast Simone Biles.
The “Single Ladies” hitmaker opened the video (via NBC Sports) with a few lines from her single “Ya Ya” before going on with:
“We’ve got superstars and we’ve got legends. We’ve got big dreamers who fought their whole lives to get here. Who gave up everything for one shot, and made it.
“That pride and that joy? That’s what gets me about this team. And that’s what makes me believe in this team. And that’s why I can’t wait to see what they pull off over these next 16 days.”
LeBron James’ participation is going to be his last in the Olympics. Bam Adebayo, Tyrese Haliburton and the rest of the star-studded basketball team are trying to help him get his third gold medal in four attempts.

Beyonce did everything she could to excite Team USA and their fans. Everything now will rest on the shoulders of the players who will perform. The US men’s basketball team will be immediately tested on Sunday when it opens its Olympic campaign.
Lining up across them at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille, France will be Serbia. The Americans and the Serbs got acquainted about a week ago in Abu Dhabi in an exhibition game. Behind Steph Curry’s shooting, Team USA romped to a 105-79 victory.
LeBron James, Bam Adebayo, Tyrese Haliburton and the Americans expect a much tougher fight in the rematch. In the Americans' blowout win, the Serbs didn’t have their legs after playing the back end of two straight games. The Nikola Jokic-led squad has had a few days of rest before taking on Team USA in the group stage.

The Americans will be tested but are also hoping to celebrate after the challenge. LeBron James, Bam Adebayo and Tyrese Haliburton will have roles to play in the team’s gold medal aspirations.
