Watch: PJ Washington, Markieff Morris clear hilarious dares with ease as part of Mavericks Media Day fun
PJ Washington and Markieff Morris, along with other Dallas Mavericks stars, performed hilarious dares during the Mavericks media day. The official X, formerly the Twitter account of the Dallas Mavericks, posted a video featuring the players attending the press conference following the media day.
As the video starts, it informs that the Mavericks staff gave their players some dares to complete during their media day press conference. Washington goes first; he was tasked with sneaking in the word "barbeque" during his press conference session. Washington easily accomplished his task as he snuck in the keywords while discussing his summer.
AJ Lawson was next and he completed his task quite easily as well. He was asked to sneak in the word "starfish," and he easily did so while talking about his trip to Jamaica. Daniel Gafford had to sneak in the word "cowboys," and he also achieved his task fairly easily.
Among all the Mavs featured in the video, Markeiff Morris was the one who had the most hilarious dare. He was asked to pat himself on the back multiple times throughout the conference. Morris did not back down from the dare and ended up completing it, gathering a few laughs along the way.
PJ Washington praises his barber for giving him a 'crisp' cut for the Mavericks media day
After the photoshoots were concluded on the Mavericks media day, PJ Washington sat down with the press to answer a few questions. One reporter praised Washington for his hairstyle and asked him if he had informed his barber about the media day beforehand.
"I didn't tell him how special today was but he kinda knew so he knew to get me right and crispy and good for the photos, so good for y'all camera too," Washington said.

The reporter then asked Washington about his most enjoyable non-basketball-related part this summer.
"Been able to spend time with my family got a good chance to see all my kids together, spend some time with them on the road, took a couple of trips as well and got some good barbecue, so, had a good time," Washington said.
Last season, PJ Washington was an important asset for the Dallas Mavericks. He was a solid two-way player who was effective on both ends.
He averaged 11.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists to help his team make a deep run to the NBA finals. Washington will be back in action in late October to take on the San Antonio Spurs in their season opener.
