Watch: Steph Curry gets mic'd up as he mimics Anthony Edwards' dunk at Team USA Olympics camp

Fans got a chance to hear Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry practice as he was mic'd up for Team USA. Curry could add another hardware to his collection as he participates in the Olympics for the first time. The Warriors star has had an illustrious career and is only missing an Olympic gold medal.

Curry seeks to help Team USA be consistent in the international scene with a gold medal win. He'll play alongside LeBron James, Joel Embiid and his former teammate, Kevin Durant, just to name a few. The team has been in full practice mode in the past few days, and the two-time MVP is visibly having fun with his teammates.

While mic'd up, Curry imitated Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards and pretended to do a dunk. The four-time champion has enough skills to dunk a basketball but doesn't compare to how high Edwards can get when dunking.

Watch the video below to see Curry pretend to be like Ant.

Fans are excited to see Curry play with some of the other stars for the first time. This may not be his first stint representing Team USA. He participated in the 2014 FIBA World Cup and won the gold. But seeing the NBA's all-time leader in three-pointers play in the Olympics will be special.

Steph Curry shared his favorite Klay Thompson moment

The Warriors weren't able to convince Klay Thompson to stay, breaking up the 'Splash Brothers.' Thompson is now with the Dallas Mavericks after a multi-team sign-and-trade. Through all this, Steph Curry respects his former backcourt mate's decision, which is what's best for his career at this point.

Curry would've still wanted Thompson to stay in Golden State and end their careers together with one team. However, some situations cannot be controlled by the players. The Warriors star was able to look back at the times they shared and also mentioned his favorite memory of the five-time All-Star.

"[On the call with Thompson], I was talking about his [Jan. 9, 2022] game when he came back from his [Achilles] injury against Cleveland [Cavaliers] two years ago [at Chase Center], and the reception that the crowd gave him when he walked on the court for pregame shooting and I was already out there getting shots up wearing my throwback Klay Thompson sleeve jersey," Curry said.
"It’s him walking on the court, the crowd going crazy. He was there early, and [the scene] was hyping him up because he understood. He was back in his element, back in his zone, after being away from the game for so long."

Thompson was set back for two seasons after injuring his Achilles and ACL. The Warriors struggled without him, and his return was an iconic moment in the history of the NBA.
