Watch: Steph Curry jokes about “getting old” after phenomenal outing against Bucks

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry shared a hilarious sentiment following his epic performance against the Milwaukee Bucks. During the post-game interview with Lisa Salters, Curry joked about getting old as an excuse for being tired.

The Golden State Warriors came away with an epic win against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night. After a rather miserable losing streak on the road, the Dubs finally gave their fans something to be excited about.

With the reigning champions taking on the former champions, both teams were primed to give fans a spectacle. After a rather gritty battle in regulation, the Dubs finally came out on top in OT.

Warriors superstar Steph Curry was the team's saving grace yet again. In the process of delivering some key buckets in crunch time, Steph helped the Warriors pull away with timely three-pointers in OT.

While outscoring the Bucks in OT was impressive, Curry also got it done on the defensive end in the fourth quarter. By coming up with a clutch block on Bucks star Jrue Holiday, Curry kept Golden State's hopes alive for OT.

Needless to say, Steph Curry delivered a superstar performance. Gradually settling back into a rhythm since returning from injury, the Dubs have also notched their first win since his return.

Following the game, Curry was interviewed by ESPN's Lisa Salters. When Salters asked about Curry's condition after a grueling 43 minutes of play, the guard hilariously responded by saying:

"Oh I'm great. I'm just getting old."
Lisa Salters: "You look tired. Are you okay?"

Steph Curry: "Oh, I'm great. I'm just getting old." 😅

At 34 years of age, Curry remains one of the most significant pieces in the Warriors' mechanism. As the focal point of the offense, Steph truly displayed how valuable he was on a nightly basis.

With 36 points, six rebounds, and four assists, Curry did it all to ensure a much-needed win for the Warriors. As the Dubs prepare for their next game against the Phoenix Suns, Golden State will also hope for Curry to be in top condition.

Steph Curry picks up where he left off

Steph Curry hasn't looked like he has missed a step at all. Since returning from his injury, the Golden State Warriors superstar has only picked up where he left off.

Although the Warriors have gone 1-3 since Steph's return, Curry has been notching some incredible performances. While scoring 25+ points in each game, Curry notched an impressive 40-point performance in the loss to OKC.

The 36 points against the Bucks, however, are far sweeter. With a much-needed win on the books, Curry has brought back some of the Warriors' mojo as they climb the Western Conference ladder.

Having improved to 35-33 on the season, the Warriors currently find themselves in the playoff picture. However, standing only one game ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the sixth-place Warriors are far from being in the clear.

With an impressive seven-game home winning streak and an equally abysmal eight-game road losing streak, the Warriors are truly a conundrum. With a grueling five-game road trip following their next game, the Dubs will hope to shift gears on the road soon.
