Watch: Steph Curry recreates his iconic 2016 game-winning shot against OKC Thunder

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry is looking to make an impact for his team. In a recent video, Steph was seen recreating his iconic game-winner against the OKC Thunder.

The Golden State Warriors will definitely be on the upswing as Steph Curry makes his return from injury. Curry was sidelined ahead of the All-Star break with an ankle injury. Given the amount of influence the guard wields on Golden State's success, the Dubs really suffered with Curry out of the rotation.

However, the Warriors have found their groove recently. With Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole turning the heat up, the Dubs managed to record some pretty impressive wins to move up the West.

Curry returned to action during the Warriors' game against the LA Lakers on Sunday. Unfortunately, the guard's arrival was spoiled by the Purple and Gold, who walked away with the win at home.

But Curry doesn't seem fazed in the slightest. Heading into the next fixture against the OKC Thunder on Tuesday, the Warriors superstar was seen warming up in interesting fashion.

To the enjoyment of several Warriors fans, Curry recreated the epic game-winner against the Thunder.

The shot itself was a thing of beauty. In the final seconds of OT, Curry received the ball from Iguodala. While most teams would have called a timeout at this stage, the Warriors let Curry cook.

Curry stepped into OKC's half and Russell Westbrook sagged off of him for a brief moment. This small window gave Curry enough space to function. Within the flow of the dribble, Curry pulled up from 38 feet to splash out one of the most ridiculous game-winners of all time.

Curry's game-winner was also crucial for the Warriors that season as it added another notch to their column of wins that season. Eventually, after closing the season with 73 wins and nine losses, the Warriors achieved something truly special.

Unfortunately, their regular-season success wasn't reflected in the postseason as they came up short against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

Curry's recreation of the game-winner against OKC should be a hopeful sight for the Warriors. As the team prepares for its upcoming match against the Thunder, Steph and the Dubs will hope to notch their first win with the superstar back on the roster.

Steph Curry will need time

Steph Curry's return from injury comes as great news for the Golden State Warriors' season. However, there are a few concerns along the way.

Given the kind of injury Curry is returning from, the Warriors will have to be patient with their superstar. Although he managed to produce some solid numbers against the Lakers, Curry will need time to fully re-assimilate into the system.

Considering the Warriors' free-flowing system, the Dubs are dependent upon a certain kind of momentum to develop internally. Thompson and Poole acted as catalysts to get the Dubs back into that flow. Steph Curry's arrival is a bit of a speed bump.

However, Steph's availability could lead to great things for the team. Currently sitting in fifth place in the West, Golden State could very well be back on the rise.
