Steph Curry's sister, Sydel Curry, celebrated her sixth wedding anniversary with husband and Phoenix Suns player Damion Lee on Sept. 1. They chose to mark it simply but intimately, opting to go on a staycation in the Arizona area.
On Instagram, the 29-year-old social media personality shared moments she had with Lee during their relaxing stay at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale at Troon North, which they capped off with a romantic dinner and dip in the pool.
Check out her video post below:
Sydel Curry and Lee met back in college while she was at Elon University and he was at Drexler University. After going out on a few dates, they officially became a couple. They got married on Sept. 1, 2018 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As a testament to her love for Lee, she took to IG a day after their wedding and shared a special message to him. Part of it read:
"I love this man more than words can tell but now I get to live my life showing it and telling him every day! I have tons of people to thank but right now, I just need to relish in the fact that I have found my soulmate, we are now one, and I am Mrs. Lee!!!!!"
The couple now has two kids together, son Daxon Wardell-Xavier, who turns three years old in November, and one-year-old daughter Daryn Alicia.
Sydel Curry says she has adjusted living in Phoenix as husband Damion Lee plays for the Suns
Sydel Curry said she has adjusted to living conditions in Phoenix since her husband signed with the Suns in 2022 from the Golden State Warriors.
Steph Curry's sister shared this in an interview with the My Husband Is My Best Friend podcast, highlighting that while she misses the Bay Area, she has grown to like living in Phoenix.
Sydel Curry said:
"I miss being on my family and like the bay culture in a sense. But I am like a warm weather girl, like I love heat. I don't like being cold so I like Phoenix..."
Check what she had to say below, beginning at 1:23:
Lee played four years with Sydel Curry's brother, Steph, in Golden State, winning an NBA title in the 2021-22 NBA season. He signed with the Suns the following season, playing 74 games and averaging 8.2 points, three rebounds and 1.3 assists 21 minutes of play.
However, Lee missed the whole of the 2023-24 season after tearing his right meniscus, which required surgery and a season-long recovery. He intially declined his player option for the upcoming NBA season but eventually re-signed with the team on a one-year deal.
