Watch: Travis Scott honors James Harden with praise-filled birthday toast in Las Vegas

Rapper Travis Scott honored LA Clippers star James Harden on his 35th birthday on Monday with a toast during his birthday celebration in Las Vegas. Scott piled on praise for Harden as he repeatedly called him the "greatest human of all time" and asked the attendees to have the best time of their lives in honor of Harden.

"I just want everybody to go to the next level for the greatest human of all time. If you're only here, we're only here to celebrate the best of the best...." Travis Scott said.
"This my greatest friend of all time and I just want everybody to please, if you don't throw up, then just have a good time till your hands and feet can work no more," Travis Scott continued.
"If you have a shot in your hand, I need you to raise that glass to the highest of the highest, we only here to have a good time, not a long time. To the best man of all time, to my best friend, my brother."

With both of them having roots in Houston, James Harden and Travis Scott share a long-time friendship that has grown into a brotherhood. The former NBA MVP previously spoke of his bond with the rapper during an interview with Billboard in 2019.

“Over these last few years, we’ve grown a friendship, a friendship that’s grown pretty tight,” Harden said. “We talk very, very often. We give each other confidence. We talk about how we can be better in our own class. It’s really grown to be a real brotherhood and a friendship. It’s pretty dope.”

Evidently, Harden and Scott carry on that relationship, and it seems to be growing stronger with each passing year.

DeMar DeRozan raves about James Harden's remarkable run with Houston Rockets

Featuring on the recent episode of the "Club 520 Podcast," Sacramento Kings star DeMar DeRozan raved about James Harden's incredible stint with the Houston Rockets.

On the podcast, former NBA player Jeff Teague, who had previously claimed that Harden was a better scorer than Kobe Bryant, asked DeRozan for his take on the matter. Though Bryant was DeRozan's GOAT, he backed Teague on his claim as he raved about Harden and said:

"The run James [Harden] had was f**king…that ain’t even a video game. That s**t was like some f**king Space Jam s**t. … 40 [points], 45, 15 assists, 10 rebounds. That run he had was f**king incredible and the s**t looked like it was with no effort.
"People are so sensitive when it come to certain s**t. That run James had was the most incredible s**t I’ve ever seen. … Kobe [Bryant] was my GOAT, all that and everything, but what’s real is real. The s**t James was doing, I don’t think we’ll ever see that again."

James Harden was the NBA scoring champion for three straight seasons from 2018 to 2020, with his best average being 36.1 points per game in the 2018-19 season. His effortless scoring performances during that period with the Houston Rockets put him in talks of being one of the league's greatest scorers of all time.
