Watch: Victor Wembanyama introduces the world to nasty no-look block in Olympics practice

Victor Wembanyama and Team France are getting ready to represent the country in the upcoming Paris Olympics. The San Antonio Spurs star has shown glimpses of his brilliance in the NBA and he picked things up right where he left them with his national team.

The big man is only getting started and today showed the world an impressive defensive play against teammate Evan Fournier. A video shared by Team France on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows Wembanyama guarding Fournier.

When Wemby gives his back to the former Knicks player, Fournier goes for the floater. Wembanyama had jumped without seeing the opponent, lifted his arm, and still got the block.

Magic Johnson had already shown the no-look pass during his years with the Lakers. Now, Wembanyama has raised the bar, doing the same on the defensive end of the ball, showing off the no-look block.

Last week, he already showed a 360 bounce pass to Rudy Gobert as Team France dominated Turkey in preparations for the Olympics. Wembanyama got the ball behind the 3-point line, set a screen, and got away from his defender. When Rudy Gobert cut to the rim, the young player released the ball and set Gobert up for the dunk with a 360 pass.

That's gonna be great for Wemby... And that is a genius move by the Spurs, man."
