Watch: Zion Williamson spotted in Paris sporting a brand new look
Zion Williamson was in Paris on Monday to headline a Jordan Brand event. The New Orleans Pelicans star surprised fans with his new look, headlined by his beard.
The second part of the post featured a video of Williamson visiting a Foot Locker in Paris to promote the Jordan Brand and to sign autographs. The fans who went there got a front-row ticket to the burly power forward’s new look.
Williamson has been to the fashion capital of the world for “Jumpman” events over the last few years. In 2023, he wowed basketball fans when he dropped the Zion 3, the latest version of his signature shoe. Sneakerheads are still waiting for word if a new edition will be rolled out by the former Duke star this year.
New Orleans Pelicans fans will also be happy to note that Williamson looked in great shape. During the Las Vegas Summer League games, coach Willie Green said his franchise player was fit and healthy.
"Zion is healthy, he is in the gym and he's working out. A lot of credit goes to him. He's put the work in and we're extremely proud of the steps he's taken. We're gonna need it next season."
Williamson injured his hamstring in the play-in tournament against the LA Lakers, but appears to have returned to fitness.
The Pelicans will need a healthy Zion Williamson next season
The New Orleans Pelicans will hope Zion Williamson can stay healthy through the entire 2024-25 season.
“Zanos” played 70 games last season, breaking his previous career high by a wide margin. Yet, he couldn’t stay healthy when the team needed him the most.
The Pelicans will have a new-look frontline next season. Gone are Jonas Valanciunas, Larry Nance Jr. and Cody Zeller. Replacing them are Daniel Theis, Karlo Matkovic and rookie Yves Missi.
