"We all know who Embiid’s father is" - Anna Horford shuts down Joel Embiid fan for comment on brother Al Horford's son Ean
Al Horford's sister, Anna Horford, had a heated exchange with a Joel Embiid fan on X on Monday. The verbal spat began when a X user, @EmbiidIsHim, replied to Anna’s video showing Boston Celtics star Al Horford practicing shots with his son Ean before the game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
In the video shared on social media, young Ean Horford showed off his shooting skills and Anna shared the clip with the caption:
"NBA 3’s at nine years old."
A fan replied to Anna's video after noticing that Ean's foot was on the line when he released the basketball.
"Little bros foot was on the line that’s a fuckin 2," the X user replied.
Anna Horford took exception to the Embiid fan's wording and responded sharply, saying:
"Appropriate that you called my nephew little bro since we all know who Embiid’s father is."
The exchange escalated and seemed to take an unpleasant turn when the X user responded, saying:
"Would you rather I have called him a stupid little fuckin toolbag that couldn’t hit a 3?"
Anna responded once more, this time taking a jab at the user for identifying as an Embiid fan.
"Not sure why you’d talk about Embiid like that when you’re supposed to be a stan account," Al Horford's sister replied.
Ean is the oldest of Al Horford's five children and was born in 2015. The Celtics star has been married to former Miss Universe winner Amelia Vega since 2011.

Al Horford revealed his son's fondness for Boston Celtics
Al Horford clinched his first NBA title last season with the Boston Celtics at age of 38. It was an emotional milestone for the entire Horford family, who celebrated the Dominican star’s achievement in style.
Following his victory, Horford shared how meaningful it is to have his son Ean now engaging with the team, as he’s begun to play and understand basketball.
"He’s so involved with the team," said Horford via NY Times. "He really loves being a Celtic. He just really relishes it. And to see him throughout the season being so invested in it, so committed with it, my girls too, my (four) daughters are super into it, but he’s playing now so he’s starting to understand it a little more."
Horford and his son have frequently been seen together during the Celtics' pre-game warmups and even during post-game activities.
