"What Jokic is doing is worse than LeBronto": Fans weigh in on Nikola Jokic's Lakers dominance vs. LeBron's supremacy over Raptors

For years, LeBron James tormented the Toronto Raptors, leading his Cleveland Cavaliers to a dominant 12-2 record in three straight playoff series. Nikola Jokic seems to have taken up a similar role against the Lakers star.

Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have defeated the Lakers in 13 of their last 14 matchups, including playoffs. They swept Los Angeles in the Western Conference Finals two seasons ago and continued their dominance last year.

Some fans on X debated whether Jokic and the Nuggets' dominance over LeBron and the Lakers is worse than what LeBron did to the Raptors.

"What Jokic is doing is worse than LeBronto," a fan said.

Some fans said that the situations aren't comparable since James is at the back end of his career.

"Bron has beaten Toronto as the underdog. Jokic hasn’t done that," one fan said.
"Doesn’t count he’s at the fossil age of his career," a fan tweeted.

Some fans backed the Nuggets, arguing they hold a mental edge over the Lakers.

"Nuggets, at this point, mentally own the Lakers, soon as a few tough shots fall, the Lakers are just out of it," a fan said
"NikoLA Jokic >>> LeBronto," a fan wrote.

Nikola Jokic keeps dominating the Lakers

The Lakers haven't figured out how to stop Nikola Jokic, who's averaging a triple-double this season. He is averaging 30.3 points, 13.9 rebounds, 11.2 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 56.8% from the field and 56.3% from the three-point range.

Jokic, a three-time MVP, has ended LeBron James' season in two consecutive years. He had one of his best performances yet in Saturday's win, logging 34 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one block.

LeBron's best years might be in the rearview mirror, but Jokic is sending him off in the worst possible way.
