Every year, the NBA All-Star celebrity game is one of the first events to kick off the league's biggest weekend. Famous people from different areas join in on the fun to compete in front of a packed audience.
The 2024 NBA All-Star celebrity game takes place on February 16th at 7:00 pm Eastern Time. It will be played at the Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts. Friday and Saturday's events will be held there, with the All-Star game iteself being played in the home arena of the Indiana Pacers.
The celebrity game will be the second event of the All-Star weekend. Leading up to the game, the NBA will hold its Basketball Hall of Fame press conference at 5:30 pm.
For those who want to tune in to the NBA All-Star celebrity game, it will be aired on TV. It's the only event of All-Star weekend that's televised on ESPN. Once the celebrity game wraps up, it will be followed by the Rising Stars Challenge, featuring all the top young players in the league.
2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game rosters and coaches
The rosters for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game are set to feature a diverse lineup, including the youngest female EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson, NBA Champion Metta World Peace, NFL stars Micah Parsons and CJ Stroud, IndyCar Series racer Conor Daly, Grammy-nominated recording artists AJ McLean, Walker Hayes, and SiR, along with Grammy-nominated musician Adam Blackstone. Also joining the lineup are Emmy-winning entertainer Lilly Singh, actors Dylan Wang and Quincy Isaiah, streamer Kai Cenat, content creator Tristan Jass, basketball entertainer Jack Ryan, and James Beard Award-winning chef Kwame Onwuachi.
Olympic High Jump Champion Gianmarco Tamberi and Latin American Music Award-winning recording artist Anuel AA are set to make their second appearance in the Celebrity Game. Additionally, each team will include a WNBA star, with two-time WNBA champion and five-time Seattle Storm All-Star Jewell Loyd, as well as WNBA Champion and Phoenix Mercury guard Natasha Cloud, featured on opposing rosters.
ESPN NBA Analyst and First Take personality Stephen A. Smith is set to coach against his First Take co-star and Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.
Joining Team Shannon as coaches are Peyton Manning, Pro Football Hall of Famer and co-star of ESPN’s Monday Night Football with Peyton & Eli, along with Grammy Award-winning recording artist Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. On the opposing side, two-time WNBA Champion and two-time WNBA M.V.P. A’ja Wilson, along with five-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist and global icon Lil Wayne, will coach for Team Stephen A.
