When is Andrew Wiggins coming back? Everything we know so far from Steph Curry, Steve Kerr and more
Andrew Wiggins hasn't played in an NBA game since Feb. 13. The Golden State Warriors forward is away from the team due to personal reasons and no one really knows what exactly is going on.
Many false rumors about Wiggins have recently surfaced online. There was a rumor that his girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend, but it was debunked. A lot of fans want to know what's going on with the star player and when he will return, but the Warriors haven't revealed it yet.
However, several members of the team have spoken about Wiggins, including coach Steve Kerr.
Andrew Wiggins may not return during the regular season
Wiggins has missed 20 straight games due to personal reasons and will likely be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season. The Golden State Warriors have five games left on their schedule.
Draymond Green, a defensive specialist, talked about Wiggins on his podcast. However, the forward did not provide any return date for his teammate. Instead, he implied that Wiggins is dealing with something that's very serious.
"Sometimes people disgust me," Green said. "You don’t know what someone is dealing with, and then you make them deal with that… Stop it, it’s disgusting."
Steph Curry also talked about Wiggins and expressed his support for him. However, Curry's comments also indicated that the situation is very serious.
"It's a tough situation in terms of him being away for so long, but necessary," the Warriors guard said. "Life is bigger than basketball. Whatever him and his family are going through, that's all that matters."
