When Charles Barkley confessed his crush on Tom Brady, only to be embarrassed later: “Damn, you’re a pretty man”
Charles Barkley never fails to make people laugh with his quick wit and unexpectedly hilarious personal stories. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Barkley shared a story about one of his mesmerizing encounters with Tom Brady in 2019.
"I'm looking at these guys, and all of a sudden I look at Gronk (Rob Gronkowski), and then Tom Brady's like right here," Barkley said. "And I look him in the eyes, and I said, 'Damn, you a pretty man.' That's what I was thinking to myself, and I got so embarrassed, I started to turn my head to talk to him.
"I was like, 'Hey Tom, it's good to see you, man. I haven't seen you in a while.' I see why he scored them touchdowns because the defense will look at his eyes, they get mesmerized. That Tom Brady, he's a pretty man, y'all. He's a nice guy, too, but, man, I can't look him in the eyes again. He's living a good life."
Chuck appeared as a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," where he shared the hilarious story regarding the legendary quarterback. According to Barkley, he was invited by New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick a week before the Super Bowl that year. He had a chance to meet some of the Patriots but was embarrassed when he came across Brady.
Barkley wasn't alone as Shaquille O'Neal also shared a similar encounter with Brady. Chuck told the story on "Inside the NBA" last year to talk about how mesmerizing the quarterback is.
"Shaq came in the other night and he's like, 'Man, I had dinner with Tom Brady the other night.' He came and said, 'Man, Imma tell you something.' I said, 'What?' 'I was out with Tom Brady the other night. You were right. That's a pretty man.'
"'Shaq, I tell you, every time I'm around him when he starts talking to me and I'll make eye contact, I don't remember nothing he said after that.'"

Charles Barkley thinks the Phoenix Suns should blow it up
The Phoenix Suns (21-24), who are 5-17 since Dec. 5, haven't been a great ball club since Devin Booker was sidelined due to a groin injury. They've dropped to 12th in the Western Conference, putting them in a tough spot. Charles Barkley, a former star player for the franchise, shared his honest take on what the Suns should do.
"My Phoenix Suns need to blow it up," Barkley said. "The Suns are not going to win a championship. ... When you look at this season, I got zero idea who is going to win the championship."
With the number of injuries the Suns have experienced, Chuck could be right.
