When Charles Barkley explained his weird habit after Shaquille O'Neal exposed him on a show: “I’ve been 10 years without underwear”
Charles Barkley is one of the funniest personalities in the NBA world. He's known for his quick wit and unexpected one-liners. During a guest appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Barkley revealed one of his more personal secrets to the public.
Chuck was previously a guest on Fallon's show in October 2018. The two discussed golf, his appearance on Sharktank and other endeavors. During the segment, they played a video sent in by Shaquille O'Neal. His 'NBA on TNT' co-host asked him a personal question.
"Charles Barkley, a source close to me tells me, you don't wear underwear when your live on TV. How come you don't wear drawers?" O'Neal asked.
Chuck laughed and answered the question. He did have an understandable reason for not wearing any underwear, but the revelation was still quite unexpected. It wasn't the information people thought they would hear from Barkley. But at least he's confident with his decision.
"Jimmy, about ten years ago, I found that drawers... I thought they were unnecessary for space in the house. So, I gathered all my drawers together and had a big old bonfire. I've been ten years without underwear and I feel good about it," Barkley confidently said.
You can catch him on "Inside the NBA," where he makes jokes, shares hot takes and argues with O'Neal.

Charles Barkley isn't a fan of the Rudy Gobert trade, calls it "the worst trade" in league history
Over the summer, the Utah Jazz pulled off a massive trade. They sent All-Star center Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for a handful of role players and multiple draft picks. The move came as a surprise to many fans. The Timberwolves were willing to give up their entire future for the 7-foot-1 center.
Unfortunately, the trade hasn't worked out for the Timberwolves. They're currently 9th in the Western Conference with a 22-23 record. They've struggled with consistency all season.
Charles Barkley saw this coming all along. He wasn't afraid to share his opinion of the blockbuster trade.
"The Timberwolves made the worst trade in NBA history. That was so stupid, that trade," Barkley said.
It's unclear whether it's more of a knock on the front office or Gobert's talents. After all, the season isn't over yet. There's a chance that the Wolves could turn it around after the All-Star break. Gobert's frontcourt mate Karl-Anthony Towns could kickstart Minnesota's resurgence when he returns from injury.
So far, Anthony Edwards has been their best player this season. He's averaged 25.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in his last ten games.
