When Charles Barkley threatened hecklers to leave him alone: “Y’all better leave me alone or I’ll come to your house and f**k your momma”

Charles Barkley and the Golden State Warriors fans had plenty of exchanges during this year's playoffs when TNT's Inside the NBA show aired outside the arenas.

Barkley didn't have high hopes for the eventual champion Golden State Warriors, whose games he covered for TNT in the playoffs. He often got into a back-and-forth with Dubnation on many occasions.

Barkley came up with a brutal playground insult when Warriors fans heckled him before Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals outside Chase Arena. He had picked the Dallas Mavericks to win that series, so the Warriors fans went at him, not showing remorse.

Charles Barkley wasn't going to let them get away with it, and when the cameras went off, he said:

"Y’all better leave me alone or I’ll come to your house and f**k your momma."

Here's a clip of the incident uploaded by "akademiks" on Instagram:

Barkley also had an incident on air with Golden State Warriors fans when they broke into a "Chuck, you suck" chant after the Dubs secured a 112-87 win over the Dallas Mavericks in that game. Barkley retaliated with a toned-down response as he went on-air, saying:

"Hey, you're right, and y'all suck too!"

Hilariously, it was Charles Barkley's co-panelist, who he happens to argue with the most, Shaquille O'Neal, who initiated and promoted those chants and sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Golden State Warriors fans had the last laugh against Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley didn't give the Golden State Warriors a chance to beat the Dallas Mavericks in the 2022 Western Conference Finals. Warriors fans were pretty vocal and wouldn't let the NBA great get away with picking their opponents to prevail.

Barkley's back-and-forth with Dubnation continued throughout the series during the Warriors' home games. They also happened to have the last laugh after Golden State dominated the Mavericks 4-1 to make their sixth finals appearance in eight years.

The Golden State Warriors blew the Dallas Mavericks off the field in all four of their wins during the series. It was a total team effort from the Dubs, with six players averaging at least 10 points a game, including four who had 15 per game.

Steph Curry led the team's charge with 23.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists per contest. He also became the first recipient of the Magic Johnson Western Conference Finals MVP award for his performance.

Charles Barkley picking the Mavericks to win the series was always a bold prediction that was likely to go against him, especially with the Warriors firing on all cylinders until that point in the 2022 playoffs. The Dubs went 8-3 in the first two rounds. They also had way more experience than the Mavericks, who were making their first conference finals appearance in over a decade.
