When Shaquille O'Neal’s ex, actor Moniece Slaughter, revealed sex life challenges with him: “I’m 5’2”, he’s 7’1, so we had to get a little creative”

Standing at over seven feet tall and weighing in at over 300 pounds, it's no surprise that Shaquille O'Neal has to be accommodating when it comes to his daily life. As the Hall of Famer once recalled in an interview, before he furnished his penthouse, he had to push four inflatable air mattresses together to sleep at night.

When it comes to his activities in the bedroom, needless to say, things can get tricky. Such was the case with his ex-girlfriend Moneice Slaughter. The singer, songwriter, and actress was linked to Shaq for over a decade ago when Slaughter was starring in Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood, and O'Neal was freshly retired from the NBA.

The two started dating, with Shaquille O'Neal adamant that he was done with being a player. Despite that, the pair wound up breaking up after she began to grill O'Neal about allegedly being unfaithful.

Although the breakup is what caught the attention of most, fans were eager to know more about how the two got on in the bedroom. As Slaughter explained in an Instagram Live in 2020, things were tricky.

“He himself is huge, right? And I’m 5’2″. He’s 7’1″, so we had to get a little creative at times. That was a fun time in my life.”

For his part, Shaquille O'Neal also spoke about the situation in an interview with The Pivot Podcast, where he explained that it all came down to geometry.

“It all comes down to geometry. 7’1″, and take a look. The head is exactly where it should be, and the midsection is exactly where it should be. Geometry. That’s why you need to arch your back.”

Below you can see O'Neal's interview about the situation:

Shaquille O'Neal and Moniece Slaughter's breakup

After about a year of dating, Slaughter began to grow suspicious of O'Neal. Given the fact that the Hall of Famer has described himself as a serial cheater, it sounds as though her concerns weren't exactly unwarranted. Although many would be hesitant to confront O'Neal, the Love and Hip Hop star wasn't.

“He broke it off with me because I was asking too many questions (laughs)," she said. "He doesn’t want to be questioned. He does not like to be cornered. And I’m the type where I’m like, ‘I don’t give a f–k who you are. If I’m concerned, I’m going to voice this concern, you going to answer it."

Despite Shaq eventually beaking off with her, she went on to explain that the pair remain good friends. When they were dating, she even went so far as to say that O'Neal was going to help her get full custody of her son. Given that, and everything they had been through together, Slaughter knows that if she ever needed him, O'Neal would be there.

Shaquille O'Neal hasn't spoken about the relationship publicly in recent years, but as Slaughter sees it, they're better off as friends than they were a couple.
