When Tristan Thompson clarified situation with Khloe Kardashian while his ex was pregnant: "When I met Khloe I was SINGLE"
From 2016 to 2021, Tristan Thompson was in an ongoing relationship with Khloe Kardashian. The two had two children together but ended their partnership for good in the summer of 2021 due to infidelity.
Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian's relationship was filled with drama from the moment it began. Mainly because of what was unfolding behind the scenes from a previous relationship.
When Tristan Thompson first started dating Khloe, his then-ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig was pregnant with his child. Thompson dated Craig from 2014 to 2016, and while there were rumors of overlapping relationships, he denies anything of that nature happening.
Despite what people may think, Thompson insists the first relationship ended before the second one began. It hit a point where he had to go to social media to clear the air about what was being said about him.
"Also, when I met Khloe I was SINGLE.
"The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary. She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrongdoings. Both Khloè and Jordan have been nothing but great mothers to my kids."
Is Tristan Thompson still in the NBA?
While all this was going down in his personal life, Tristan Thompson was enjoying a rather successful NBA career. He was the No. 4 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft and became a key piece for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While his only accolades are making an All-Rookie team and winning the title in 2016, Thompson was still a respectable player around the league. At his peak, he was one of the best offensive rebounders in the league.
At the moment, Thompson does not find himself on an NBA roster. That being said, he is not far removed from the league. Thompson most recently played last season, where he made appearances with three different teams.
Thompson started the year with the Sacramento Kings but was traded to the Indiana Pacers alongside Tyrese Haliburton. Not long after, the two sides agreed on a buyout. From there, he signed with the Chicago Bulls as a free agent. Thompson played 23 games for Chicago and averaged 5.7 points and 4.7 rebounds.
While he might not be on a roster now, Thompson's fortunes could change later in the year. At 31 years old, he still has something to give to a team. On top of that, he has championship experience. The former Cavalier could very well find himself on a competitive team that lacks frontcourt depth.
