The Denver Nuggets take on the Boston Celtics for the second time in two days at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. It promises to be a fascinating encounter between two heavyweights that are favorites for the NBA title going into the 2024-25 season.

Nikola Jokic will be the main attraction in the blockbuster preseason matchup, with Boston Celtics All-Stars Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum also expected to feature.

Former NBA MVP Russell Westbrook, who joined the Nuggets from the LA Clippers, is also expedcted to see significant minutes as he looks to gel with his new teammates.

The preseason game between the Denver Nuggets and the Boston Celtics will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Sunday. The game will begin early for viewers in the United States, with tip-off set for 10:00 a.m. EST (7:00 a.m. PST).

Fans can watch the game on NBA TV or NBA League Pass and can also do so locally on NBC Sports Boston. They can stream the game on Sling as well.

Since making his NBA debut in 2015, Nikola Jokic has evolved into one of the most well rounded and complete players in the league.

The 6-foot-11 Serbian can pass, shoot, drive and play defense at a high level. Jokic has dominated the MVP voting over the last four years, winning three awards. In 2023, he also led the Denver Nuggets to the franchise's first championship.

Last season, Jokic averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 9.0 assists over 79. If he can contribute similar numbers next season, expect to see the Nuggets make another deep playoff run.

Jaylen Brown may have taken home the NBA finals MVP trophy? but Jayson Tatum remains the focal point of the Celtics offense. The 26-year-old is coming off another incredible season, averaging 26.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists.

The Celtics won a record 18th NBA championship last season? and with Tatum, Brown and the core of the roster set to return, they enter the 2024-25 season as the early favorites in the Eastern Conference.
