Where to watch LA Lakers vs Toronto Raptors? TV details, streaming options, and more (Nov. 1) | 2024-25 NBA Season

The LA Lakers hope to snap their two-game losing streak when they play the Toronto Raptors on Friday (Nov. 1). The Purple and Gold are coming off two consecutive losses and are 0-2 in their five-game away trip. The Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns and the Cleveland Cavaliers, but now have a chance to beat the rebuilding and struggling Raptors.

Toronto has not seen great days this season. The Raptors opened with a loss to the Cavaliers and followed it up with a win against the Philadelphia 76ers. However, they dropped three games since and to compound their woes, also lost Scottie Barnes and Bruce Brown Jr. to injuries. The absence of their key two-way players sees the Raptors short on both ends of the floor.

The two sides will meet twice this season with the second matchup on Nov. 10. The Lakers will have finished their road stretch and will host Toronto who will hope to have some of their role players back in the fold by then.

LA Lakers vs Toronto Raptors player to watch out for: LeBron James

LeBron James is one of the names to watch out for as the Lakers continue their road trip. The veteran forward has 11 and 26 points in both games so far, and the struggling Raptors are an ideal side to not just rack up the numbers, but also provide that kind of vintage LeBron performance that has been missing in some games.

James has averaged 21.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game in LA's five games so far this season. He averages a career 27.0 ppg, 7.7 apg and 7.1 rpg in 60 games against the Raptors. The 4x NBA champ is expected to play on Friday and after stating his intent to play all 82 games this season, it's interesting to see if he can indeed go full Iron Man for the edition as LA aims for another title during his time with the franchise.
