During the Serbia vs Australia quarterfinal game of the 2024 Paris Olympics tournament, Aleksa Abramovic committed an unsportsmanlike foul on Dante Exum. However, after the thrilling game, Avramovic apologized to his former teammate from Partizan Mozzart Bet in the EuroLeague. Per @Eurohoopsnet on X (formerly known as Twitter):
"I apologized to him," Aleksa Avramovic said. "Dante is my brother, the best teammate I have ever had. I have said that many times."

The Serbians put together one of the best comebacks in this year's Olympic games. Team Serbia had a rough start to the game with Patty Mills helping Team Australia secure a 24-point lead. However, with the MVP-caliber abilities of Nikola Jokic, the Serbian team survived to move on to the semifinals.
