Who is Eiza Gonzalez? Kendall Jenner’s ex Ben Simmons and Eiza Gonzalez spotted in New York City
Ben Simmons was recently seen with actress/singer Eiza Gonzalez amid ongoing controversy with the Brooklyn Nets. After experiencing back-to-back halves without scoring, Simmons checked himself out of the Nets game on Jan. 26. He has since been ruled out of the past four games as a result of knee soreness.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old was spotted out in New York City with the 33-year-old Eiza Gonzalez. The news made headlines given how invested the public had been in Simmons' previous relationship with Kendall Jenner, which lasted about two years on-and-off.
After the pair split, Jenner went on record in a 2019 interview with Vogue, saying:
“For me, a lot of things are very special and very sacred, like my friends and relationships, and I personally think that bringing things into the public makes everything so much messier.
“I’m very young and right now I feel like relationships aren’t always super-certain and I don’t want to bring too much attention to something if you don’t really know long term [what it’s going to be],”
Of course, after their split, Jenner went on to date Devin Booker for quite some time.
Who is Eiza Gonzalez?
Eiza Gonzalez made it big back in 2007 when she appeared in a Mexican musical telenovela that earned her plenty of praise. Several years later, she starred in a Nickelodeon teen drama called "Suena Conmigo" for a year.
The Nickelodeon role gave her a great starting point for her career in the United States. She recently appeared in a Michael Bay film titled "Ambulance." When it comes to her relationship history, she notably dated Jason Momoa. She's also dated Paul Rabil, Timothee Chalamet and Josh Duhamel.
Although there are no confirmed reports, there are rumors that Eiza Gonzalez and Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson hooked up back in 2019.

Ben Simmons' return to the Brooklyn Nets
With the latest news about Simmons, fans are anxiously awaiting news on when he may return to the court. As the Brooklyn Nets continue to struggle in Kevin Durant's absence, they need all the help they can get.
According to head coach Jacque Vaughn, Simmons and T.J. Warren weren't quite ready to return to the lineup. He gave media members an update on the situation:
“They just weren’t ready yet, so the best thing was to leave them at home. They can get more treatment and then remain hopeful for Saturday vs. Washington. So that’s still part of the plan hopefully.
“They’re definitely progressing towards the right direction of getting back on the floor. We just weren’t there yet to put them back out there.”
Despite that, from the sound of things, Simmons won't be returning to the court on Saturday. MRI results received on Friday revealed nothing wrong with Simmons' knee, a good sign as he looks to return to the court.
Stay tuned for updates on Simmons' ongoing injury as they become available.
