Who is Richaun Holmes' ex-wife, Allexis Holmes? What did she accuse him of?
Richaun Holmes' ex-wife, Allexis Holmes, recently emerged, accusing the Sacramento Kings center of domestic abuse. The couple have been divorced since 2019 and Allexis claims that the bigman laid his hands on her six-year-old son.
Allexis approached the Sacramento Bee about these stories and the bigman has since denied the claims. Holmes is suing the Sacramento Bee for defamation over five articles claiming that the "defendants intentionally, and maliciously, published claims of child and domestic abuse by Mr. Holmes despite easily accessible evidence to the contrary via public court filings."
Allexis was interviewed by the media outlet where she expressed her fear over the sensitive matter regarding her ex-husband. Watch her interview below.
Richaun Holmes' ex-wife remains a more private life than him
There isn't much information about Allexis Holmes on the internet. Since entering the league, the only time Richaun's wife was put in the spotlight was when the accusations emerged.
In her interview with the Bee, she opted not to watch Richaun's games. Allexis detailed that she'd rather raise her son than watch her ex-husband's NBA games.
"I am ashamed of myself for being loved bombed for years by a narcissist. As soon as he got his first NBA check, I became a mental and physical punching bag," she said. "And his mother said it will be better after the first five years. She sat me down and told me that it was gonna get better if I could just ignore the first five years of abuse."
Based on her account, Richaun also had some abusive incidents with her. Allexis claimed that the NBA player punched a wall behind her head while she was pregnant. She told the Bee that she was humiliated when Richaun threw a drink at her in front of her family and friends.
