Wild'N Out rapper gives hilarious reason why LeBron James won't allow Bronny to play in Atlanta: "Strip clubs are gonna get you"
This season, LeBron James got the chance to achieve his dream of playing alongside his son in the NBA. Recently, one rapper/social media personality opened up on one city the 20-time All-Star won't let Bronny James go to.
On Tuesday's edition of FanDuel TV's "Run It Back," the panel welcomed DC Youngfly to the show. While talking about the LA Lakers star and his son, he stated why he'll never think the rookie guard will end up in his hometown of Atlanta.
"I know LeBron as a businessman," DC Youngfly said. "He will most definitely make sure Bronny don't come to Atlanta. He gonna be like them strip clubs is gonna get you son."
Aside from building up a massive following on social media, DC Youngfly is most known for being an artist on the TV show "Wild 'n Out." He's already branched out into being a movie actor, most recently appearing in the films "Outlaw Posse" and "Bosco."
Since being drafted No. 55 overall, Bronny has had the chance to make three appearances for the Lakers. Along with playing on opening night in a historic moment with LeBron James, the young guard saw five minutes of action against the Cleveland Cavaliers. In this stretch, he scored his first NBA points against his hometown team.
Bronny and LeBron James seen dancing together pregame vs Toronto Raptors
Never before has the NBA seen a father-son duo as teammates. While there have been some negative narratives about the situation, Bronny and LeBron James are making the most of the experience.
Last week, the LA Lakers traveled to Scotiabank Arena to take on the Toronto Raptors. While the team was going through their pregame warmups, Bronny and LeBron were seen dancing together as Drake played in the arena.
Thanks to strong performances from Anthony Davis and LeBron James, the Lakers were able to walk out of Toronto with a win that night. The star big man led the way with 38 points, while LeBron posted a stat line of 27 points, six rebounds and 10 assists. Bronny would also make an appearance in this game but only logged seven seconds.
Bronny has gotten the chance to play alongside LeBron in the opening weeks of the season, but things are expected to change soon. On October 25, Shams Charania reported that the second-round pick would be sent to the G-League following the Lakers' current stint on the road.
When the Lakers selected Bronny, it was clear that he was going to be a long-term developmental project for the franchise. Now that he's made history with his father, he can begin working diligently on his craft in the G-League.
