Leaked audio shows Isaiah Stewart allegedly trash-talking Myles Turner during Pacers vs Pistons game
Isaiah Stewart had plenty to say to Myles Turner after the Indiana Pacers handed the Detroit Pistons their 20th loss of the 2024-25 NBA season on Thursday, 111-100. At the end of the game, players from both teams exchanged words.
As the final buzzer sounded, tensions rose, and both teams engaged in verbal sparring. X (formerly Twitter) user @legendz_nba, known for transcribing player interactions, detailed what Stewart supposedly said to Turner following their loss.
"You play with LEGOs, you fruity a** n***a," Stewart allegedly said. "You play with LEGOs."
Before the situation could escalate further, veteran forward Tobias Harris stepped in and pulled Stewart away. Turner, known for his calm demeanor, didn’t react and instead laughed off the remarks.
Turner is known to be a fan of LEGOs and has frequently shared his hobby on his Instagram account.
On the court, Stewart focused on rebounding, finishing with two points, 13 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block off the bench. Turner played a pivotal role in securing the Pacers’ victory, contributing 28 points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks while shooting 8-for-11 from beyond the arc.
They have one game left against each other on Jan. 29. The Pacers will try to win their four-game regular season series as they hold a 2-1 lead.
Stewart’s interaction with Turner is not a new development. He has a history of talking trash to his opponents and isn’t afraid to back it up.
During the 2021-22 season, Stewart got into it with LA Lakers star LeBron James after James hit him in the eye, causing Stewart to bleed. Detroit’s big man attempted to chase James on the court, but several officials and coaches intervened.

Isaiah Stewart linked to Charlotte Hornets in trade proposal
The Charlotte Hornets recently traded backup big man Nick Richards to the Phoenix Suns and are looking to address their frontcourt depth. Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report proposed that the Hornets make a trade with the Pistons.
In his proposal, Swartz suggested that Charlotte send Miles Bridges to Detroit in exchange for Tim Hardaway Jr., Isaiah Stewart and a 2025 second-round pick.
"If the Hornets plan on keeping LaMelo Ball but still want to do a mini reset around him in what's become a lost season, moving Bridges for some young talent, expiring money and a draft pick would be a huge win," Swartz wrote.
For this season, the 6-foot-8 Stewart is averaging 5.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
