"You gon' hurt yourself"- La La Anthony's motherly side shows up as injured son Kiyan Anthony tries to jump over barricadeĀ
La La Anthony couldn't help but show her motherly side as she yelled at her son Kiyan Anthony for jumping over a barricade during Friday's LuHi Holiday Invitational game. Kiyan wasn't playing, though. Just like his parents, La La and Carmelo Anthony, he was on the sidelines after pulling out of the game against LeBron James' son Bryce James' Sierra Canyon team.
Bryce was also out for the contest with an injury. La La was seemingly bothered by Kiyan's antics amid his injury absence, and she yelled at him after the two shared a warm hug right before.
"Relax! You gon' hurt yourself," La La told Kiyan.

The Long Island Lutheran star suffered a lower back injury in the season's opening game after a hard fall. It's not a serious issue, but that may have held Kiyan Anthony from suiting up against Sierra Canyon.
La La Anthony had an NSFW message while showing her protective side with her son Kiyan Anthony
La La Anthony is very protective when it comes to her only child, Kiyan Anthony. La La once shared an NSFW (not safe for work) message on ex-husband Carmelo Anthony's podcast, "7 PM In Brooklyn" as the couple discussed their basketball parents' side for Kiyan when he announced his decision to commit to Syracuse.
"You'll fight anybody for your kid," she told Mero. "I will f*** somebody up for my kid, I don't play no games. Kiyan is always like 'Mom, you got to calm down,' like, I don't play about my kid right at all and I think any basketball mom would feel the same way."
La La Anthony is almost at every game for Kiyan Anthony. After her divorce from Carmelo Anthony, she's invested most of her time in guiding Kiyan through his basketball journey with her constant support.
While Carmelo and La La co-parent Kiyan, the Syracuse commit, lives with his mom more in New York.
