"You pay me $15,000 right now"- Michael Jordan once demanded money from Chamillionaire just for an autograph

Michael Jordan may be considered the greatest of all time by many basketball fans, but that doesn't mean he has the greatest personality. Jordan was notoriously known to be a cold individual, especially on the court. His competitive spirit as a basketball player manifested throughout other aspects of his life.

During Jordan's playing years, he gained many fans, some of whom idolized the NBA legend. With that in mind, Jordan was bound to have fans surround him and ask for autographs and photos. One instance of this happening was when rapper Chamillionaire had the opportunity to meet his childhood hero.

Naturally, as a fan, Chamillionaire asked MJ if they could take a picture together and get his autograph. According to reports, Jordan brushed the rapper off and refused his request. Jordan was possibly in a foul mood considering he asked Chamillionaire to buy an MJ jersey for $15,000 in exchange for a photo with the Chicago Bulls legend.

“You know what?" Jordan said. "I tell you what. You pay $15,000 right now for a jersey from me, and I’ll take a picture with you.'"

This broke the rapper's heart, and he stopped looking up to Jordan after.

Being a competitive basketball player is one thing, but constantly taking out your frustrations on your teammates is another thing. During Michael Jordan's legendary NBA career, some who played with the six-time champion didn't have the most pleasant experience. MJ was an intense competitor who only had winning games on his mind.

Given that Jordan embodied his competitive spirit, his teammates had to pay the price of playing with a fierce individual. There have been numerous reports and videos of MJ yelling at his teammates during their practices.

He talked trash to everyone who couldn't keep up with him and made sure they paid the price for slacking. It even got to a point where Mike would physically hurt his squad if they didn't see his perspective. According to Bleacher Report, Jordan punched former Chicago Bulls teammate Steve Kerr in the face during their scrimmage because Steve didn't appreciate Mike's comments about him.

It's no wonder former fans like Chamillionaire would lose hope in their childhood hero.
