"You're doing all of this bulls**t" - Alleged leaked audio catches Julius Randle chirping at Kings' forward during Timberwolves game
During the Minnesota Timberwolves' 115-104 loss Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings, things got chippy between Julius Randle and Jae Crowder. Both forwards had something to say to each other after Randle nailed a fadeaway jumper on Crowder.
Randle made the "too small" gesture on Crowder after making the tough shot. On the other end, Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert was on the charity stripe to knock down some free throws. While waiting by the lane, Crowder talked to Randle about his taunt.
He assured the former Kentucky forward during their games against one another, he never made fun of or taunted him. Randle countered that he always did. Crowder maintained, however, that the Wolves star never disparages him. Which led the lefty star to say:
"A'ight n***a, I can talk whenever I want to."
All-Star guard Anthony Edwards chimed in on the banter and told Crowder to "shut up." At the free throw line, Gobert was smiling while watching the exchange. The two kept going back and forth in their smack talking and Randle said:
"You're doing all of this bulls**t, n***a."
Randle outperformed Crowder with 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists. However, the recently signed Crowder had the last laugh with the win in his first game back in the league.
Wednesday's contest was the third matchup between the two teams this season. In the first two games they played, the Wolves took home the victory. Their fourth and final game for their four-game season series will be on Feb. 3.

Does Randle have beef with Crowder?
There is a history between Julius Randle and Jae Crowder which stemmed from past seasons. It started when Randle was with the Knicks and Crowder was playing for the Suns.
The two got into an altercation in 2020–21 during a regular season game. A fight broke out, and Randle pushed Crowder to the ground. Due to Randle's actions, he was given a technical foul. Following the game, Randle talked to reporters and addressed what happened between him and Crowder.
"He's just a front-runner. He didn't say a word in the first half," Randle said. "They were down and they tied the game up and he got a stop on me and wanted to say something. That's just who he is. Everybody in the league knows it. But I'm not worried about him."
With Crowder's return to the NBA, there's more action waiting for him and Randle.
