Golden State Warriors v Denver Nuggets
Professor Curry at your service....

What's the story?

ESPN NBA Staff Writer Chris Haynes recently reported on a new venture that Steph Curry is looking to get into. Curry will teach online basketball courses through the MasterClass platform.

In case you didn't know...

MasterClass is a relatively new service that started in 2016. After receiving $15 million in funding, they were able to get started and to date, they have had dozens of celebrities teach a wide range of classes from cooking to acting.

The heart of the matter...

Early next year, Curry will begin teaching basketball fundamentals through MasterClass; which is an online educational platform that offers classes. Other celebrities that are teaching classes include Samuel L. Jackson, Serena Williams, and Christina Aguilera.

Pre-enrollment is now available for Curry's classes and registrations is available at the following website: www.MasterClass.com/SC

Lifetime access to Curry's sessions will cost $90 (or $180 for every type of course the site offers) and enrolling now gives those people early access to his lessons. Some of the extras offered with the class include a downloadable workbook as well as a shot chart to assist those who are learning.

What's next?

Professor Curry and his Golden State Warriors (11-4) couldn't stop the streaking Boston Celtics. Following short and allowing the C's to keep rolling with their 14th straight win. This was Game 1 of the Warriors' ongoing four-game road trip. They continue games at Philadelphia, Brooklyn and then at Oklahoma City.

Author's take...

This is very unique. It's like a mixture of the past and future. You used to be able to buy instructional videos from experts, and you'd see commercials all the time in the 80's and 90's. Moving this to an online interactive platform is interesting, and if you're looking to learn a new skill, this is a neat way of doing so.
